Excellent food and the owner (Sunny) is a really good dude. He has done a great job and has employed many people. He's done fantastic renovations that has made it a very comfortable place to chill out and meet new friends.

Drinks and food were great I had the Lamb chops with shrimp and rice it was so good. I'd definitely visit again

Wife and I went to Philly last weekend for the Caribbean festival and a lecture at MKA institute down the street. Hungry and unfamiliar with the area, we walked into this dive. It's 1/2 bar, 1/2 restaurant. The sounds from the bar area are urban and raw, so don't bring your children here. However, MAN the restaurant side has some FANTASTIC food. We had the lamb chops with homemade mac and cheese. These were the best seasoned lamb chops I have EVER had in a restaurant, and we order lamb often. The mac and cheese was fresh, tasty. The cook here is next level. We're quiet types and were uncomfortable with the vibe from the bar, but after eating we still decided to stay an extra 20 minutes to get another order of lamb to take back to the hotel. It was that good. Look, if I lived in Philly, this would be my only takeout spot. Food: Five stars; Atmosphere: 1 star. (But the people at the bar were having a blast. That just ain't us.)

We've been coming back here for years. It's been a few years since we were here. I'm glad to report nothing has change. Food fanatic service was great. Yes this place is worth the stop. Good food and good spirits. And the DJ was rocking.

I stopped in for a late lunch the other day (weekday) & it was about 10ppl total. The bartender was pleasant, personable and very courteous. The waitress was nice, our order took a while, but when it came I was pleased. I had the mussels and crab legs which were seasoned to my liking. My friend had the salad w/ shrimp which was pretty darn amazing (made me wish I'd ordered that instead). We also tried the potato salad and seafood salad. Neither were anything to write home about. I didn't have any drinks, but he bar was stocked w/ some pretty good choices. I hear it gets lit in there at night & on the weekends so I'd probably just stick to midday visits. But I'd definitely go back & get my own order of the shrimp salad ;-)

I came here with my mom a little while back for an afternoon crab feast. Our server was friendly and checked on us regularly to make sure we were enjoying our meal and had whatever we needed. I ordered cocktails and the bartender did a nice job with those, and the price was fair. The crab was fresh, sweet, and delicious, and the servings were more than reasonable. My mom and I both enjoyed our meals. It's conveniently located right near the corner of Germantown and Chelten Avenues in Germantown. I'd definitely come back here for tasty, fresh, reasonably-priced seafood.
